I also found the small print size difficult to read-would have preferred a longer book with larger print. What I disliked about the book is that I can no longer have any illusions about the motives of our government when intervening in other countries. Ample footnotes are provided so that you can "fact-check" the author. The chapters are short but rich with detail. Each chapter of the book covers a year in which the author takes one particular country case and tells the story. There has been no case since WWII where a country has been better off because of US involvement, even when the purported reason has been stated as humanitarian (NOT) and to promote democracy (NOT).
